The Boys and I went to see Dean yesterday. He still knows Jack but he is having a hard time remembering Kyle’s name and the fact that he is ours. The hospital is doing allot of good for him. His pain is well controlled and he hasn’t fallen again since he has been there. He is eating again after 4 days of not eating anything. He seems to have more energy when he is awake and able to sleep better at night. As hard as it is to admit that the end is coming I still think I made the best decision, it was definitely time.

We admitted Dean to the hospitle yesterday. It is no longer safe for him to live at home. It’s a very empty feeling noing that he is never coming home again. I took Kyle over to see him this morning and he seems to be adjusting very well. He slept good last night and seem to have more energy this morning. Hopefully he stays this good until atleast tomorrow night so I can bring Jack over to see him in the morning.
My heart is bleeding for you and your family. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Posted on I am so sorry you are having to go through this. My heart aches every time i think about your family – and your family seems to be on my mind throughout every day. I am praying to god to give you strength, courage and peace.
Why did you feel the hospital was the way to go? I was wondering? I am at home and I make a lot of mistakes! I have a 7 year old? Talk to me?
